First of all! I look like a bad bougie bitch with this hot iron! I get so many compliments when I pull it out (I have the same hot comb too).! The straighteners are very smooth and don't have a gap that catches the hair as you pull them past, the plates touch evenly. I have a 200% density wig and if you wear wigs you know there is a TON of hair! With my 1 inch Babyliss Pro iron I straighten in 2 hours and with this iron in 30-40 minutes! I use CHI oil when I'm ironing and when I'm done I use a cotton pad soaked in alcohol to remove the oil for the next use. The cord is very long and I love the fact that the temperature setting is fixed so you can't make the mistake of turning the temperature up or down or turning everything off at once and then realizing your iron was off for a minute !
