Can't really compare them as I'm just learning to fly but compared to the old David Clarke kit school gave me for the first few weeks these are fantastic! Lighter, more comfortable and I can hear everything! The first day I had them I was very impressed with how much sharper everything was and when I finished the tutorial I realized I forgot to turn on the noise reduction! Ha! After switching it on I was stunned! I've been contemplating how to put them on at night before bed to ensure a restful night's sleep! Initially I thought it would be a starter pair that I would upgrade later and keep for possible passengers, but now I know that when the time comes to buy a second pair for that purpose I will just buy another set .
