More than enough - Auto & Vehicle Electronics

Contrary to what is advertised, they do not offer Bose noise cancellation. However, they significantly reduce noise levels and make flying less tiring. The first headset received had to be returned due to defects, but was promptly replaced by Revain. I would recommend them for their good value for money. If you can afford premium headphones, great. But on a tighter budget, I felt it was worth the extra $200 over PNR headsets. Annual update: On December 19th, I noticed that the first headset…

Perfect. Compared to more expensive kits.

I switched between Bose and this headset for no reason. I would never pay for Bose after using them. You can buy 4 sets of these at Bose price. Pros: Much better passive noise cancellation than Bose. The battery lasts a long time. Very quiet NR. Solidly built. Heavy duty cable and connector. Auxiliary input jack for 1/8" phone line-in. Cons: They're bulkier than Bose (this can be a problem for everyone). Not as many "custom" sound settings as Bose. No Bluetooth. Reducing the cost of technology…

Great headphones! Attractively priced!

Can't really compare them as I'm just learning to fly but compared to the old David Clarke kit school gave me for the first few weeks these are fantastic! Lighter, more comfortable and I can hear everything! The first day I had them I was very impressed with how much sharper everything was and when I finished the tutorial I realized I forgot to turn on the noise reduction! Ha! After switching it on I was stunned! I've been contemplating how to put them on at night before bed to ensure a restful

Great ANR headset at a quarter the price of premium brands

I looked at several headsets before buying . The low cost of the UFQ A28 made it a good choice, but I was a little nervous about an unknown brand with very few reviews. I risked it and am very happy with my purchase. I've had the headset for a few months now and have used it on several flights. I'm still using the original set of AA batteries (which I don't think were included with my purchase - if it was, I simply put in some energizers instead of the ones that came with the headset). The…

Excellent value for headsets and intercoms

I did a lot of research before purchasing these headphones. I can afford the Bose A20 but I had my doubts about Bose customer service. I've physically tried LightSPEED Zulu 3 and Sierra. (Note: the Zulu 3 feels more durable - more metal than plastic - than the Sierra). However, I found out from the owner of LightSPEED that they are having issues with Bluetooth. There is a latency that makes Bluetooth almost unusable. Each side has to delay the reply by about 3 seconds to be heard. I don't know…

Great value ANR headset

I have been a commercial pilot for over 50 years. When I first started flying, headsets weren't common. We used an in-ceiling speaker and a handheld microphone. I've been using David Clarke headphones since the mid 1980's and my originals are still a replacement. DC completely restored it for me a few years ago at an attractive price. I am currently using DC One-X ENC. Make no mistake, this is not a quality replacement for my DC. BUT, it works very well, especially with ANR, which is the main…
