Review on Acer Predator XN253Q Pbmiprzx 24.5" Monitor, 1920X1080 Resolution, 144Hz Refresh Rate, Built-In Speakers, HDMI by Maurice Kelkay

I had a hard time deciding between this and the 27-inch IPS version. Some reviews say TN is better for gaming, others say nothing than IPS. In the end, I decided that both had their weaknesses and "it wasn't worth the extra money for IPS. This monitor looks great. Viewing angle needs to be narrow on TN screen The laptop it's connected to only has an HDMI 1.4 port so I can't use G-Sync and am stuck at a 30Hz refresh rate. Screen tearing is noticeable, but it doesn't really distract me during gameplay. I'm interested to see how it would be much better if connected via displayport. I like the look of it.
