Review on ๐ŸŽ๏ธ Turbo Wing XLAB by Robert Correa

Expensive but works well - can't use thick bottle cages

Like all Xlab "Wing" products, it's not cheap, but it does exactly what it's designed to do. You can position the wing at different angles as well as position the bottle cages at different angles. Note that this does not work with Xlab's own P-cells. The reason is that the P-Cage uses very thick plastic in the screw area. The plastic is too thick for the screws that come with the Turbo Wing. Using other screws may be possible, but the Turbo Wing is designed to work in a specific way. So using other fasteners is a bit like PITA. However, there are inexpensive bottle cages that are thinner in the mounting area and work well. Xlab wants you to buy their $60 gorilla cages, but there are others that will work as well. I set it up with an inflation holder which they sell separately. The Turbo Wing comes with a set of Velcro straps to attach the bag. I have two bottle holders, an inflation holder (2 CO2 cartridges and an inflator) along with an Xlab mini bag. The mini pouch can be attached to one side of the inflation holder with CO2 cartridges already installed. It's a tight fit, but it will work. If you need to store more stuff, you can tie an Xlab tire bag under the Turbo Wing.
