Ever since I bought my VTX1800C, I've been struggling with numb hands after 20-30 minutes of driving. I have a gas lock, ISO grips and soft palm gloves. When cruising, I deliberately keep the handles as light as possible. All these measures help some, but these weights significantly reduce the vibration of the steering wheel and mirror and various speeds, from idle to 80+. I still feel some vibration (we're talking about the 1.8-liter V-twin here), but it's much softer and doesn't leave my hands numb. They are even compatible with my fake (not Kury). ISO grips. I had to buy extra screws from the hardware store as the Hens use #4-40 and my copies use M3-0.5. I also had to grind the OD of the screw heads a bit as they were too wide to fit the weight, but after doing that everything fitted very well. YMMV of course, but I'm a very happy backpacker!
