Fur. Well made but too thick to hold ANY polishing compound

I was disappointed. They're well made, but the fabric is so thick I couldn't polish them. I tried a hard compound (like you use on a buffing wheel) and the compound melted but didn't penetrate/stick to the wheel. I ended up using a liquid car polish paste, but even that was mostly just smeared with thick felt.
