I was disappointed. They're well made, but the fabric is so thick I couldn't polish them. I tried a hard compound (like you use on a buffing wheel) and the compound melted but didn't penetrate/stick to the wheel. I ended up using a liquid car polish paste, but even that was mostly just smeared with thick felt.

The size is not mentioned in the business part. They are pretty small. Their largest diameter is 3/8 to 1/2 inch. Most of them are much smaller than this one. You specify the size by looking at the pictures and determining if it's right for you by comparing the size of the 1/8" shank to the end of the fiber.
