Review on Everest Signature Waist Pack Standard Outdoor Recreation by Matt Vanlaere

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Okay but there are a few downsides for me

I thought I would like this fanny pack more than me. While it feels sturdy and offers enough space for things I want to carry around (mainly my iPhone 6+ and other stuff for walking the dog), I have a few caveats. The biggest thing is how L--O-ONG the waist belt is. If you're very round, you'll probably appreciate the extra length. But I'm not chubby and I don't understand how much I need to figure out how not to hang out. I had to resort to rubber bands, but I want the designer to come up with a more attractive solution than I had to. I also realized that I needed the 4-zip belt case I was using (but it was pretty old and dirty), so I'm missing a storage space separate from where I put my iPhone. I also don't like that the zippers are very large and kind of rattle against each other when in close proximity. I live in a quiet area and the ringing is annoying. Most people wouldn't, I have to admit! It's just my personal whim.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • not as thick as other options
