This is a very strong and stable monitor mount. Adjustments are made with hex keys and nuts. The only part you can finger tighten is the underside of the base, but at least the tools are included. This is a type of monitor stand that takes a bit of time to install, but once you've done that, you don't have to touch it. There is quite a bit of assembly as the plates, arm and vertical column are separate. The instructions are clear and we will write. Please note that according to the manual, the minimum table thickness is 3.15 inches. The back of the table should be open unless you plan to drill holes in the table.
