Review on Outward Hound Kyjen Excursion Dog Backpack: Superior Quality for Canine Adventures by Pamela Jones

Well I really like the packaging design. My 10 month old G Shep was growing his other backpack and wanted one with bigger pockets so I figured this one would be perfect. The pockets are nice and roomy (each holds 4 bottles of water). I bought it in size XL but I think size L would be big enough. I saw another comment about stitches unraveling but until yesterday there was no problem. He usually only walked around when he was dressed, but he trotted around the yard a couple of times, and sure enough, a pocket started opening. Looks like they need to use a stronger thread. Problem-free solution, therefore still 4 stars. Hopefully the manufacturer will see the feedback and make small changes to the vinyl/heavy duty threading. To update! The bags finally broke after about 9 months of regular use. There was a tear on the bottom of one of the pockets which is not easy to repair as the fabric has torn and the seam has come undone. 3 stars deducted for lack of durability. If it's just for walking and with light exertion it will do, but if your dog tends to jump or run with it, it will snap. Would like better materials because the design is great and seems very comfortable for a wide backed dog.
