This is a great product. Cleans great and leaves almost no odor - just a hint of lemon. And it's a fantastic deal: Because it's super concentrated (the instructions say you dilute it 16:1), it costs less than a penny per ounce of liquid. Compare that to the standard Hoover 2X concentrate, which costs over 10 cents a fl oz diluted and, well, just doesn't clean well. . The description of Revain and the bottle says nothing about use in a carpet cleaner so I called customer service. They couldn't have been nicer and said that while it's safe for my car, I'd be better off with their Low Foam Extractor product. But since I had already bought it, I tried it and it worked. The only minor catch is that with the extra foam in the recovery tank, the full gauge float kicks in a little earlier than normal - a bit of a compromise for this version's super strong foam (think "bubble scraper"). .
