Review on Super Bright LUYED LED Bulbs with Projector: 2 X 900 Lumens, 78-EX Chipsets for Turn Signal, Amber - 3056, 3156, 3057, 3157 by Richard Eledge

Updated 5/18/17. Bought July 2016. In April 2017 I noticed that some individual LED elements were burned out or flickering. I contacted the supplier and they sent two free replacement units. I am satisfied with the seller's efforts to fulfill the warranty. Nonetheless. I believe in the truth of things so I have to update my original review. Although I now have two new Luyed amber bulbs, they are also having some issues. The first observation that struck me is that they are a completely different shade of amber. The first three sets I bought are very amber with an orange tinge. The two replacement parts I received are yellow rather than orange. Second, for some reason both lights have a delay when they turn on, about half a second or so. When I turned on the turn signals, the side and tail lights came on immediately and simultaneously; The new bulb had a slight lag so it just looked weird. The same applies to the other light bulb. So I pulled them out and replaced them with LED bulbs in the DRL sockets - they light up instantly so now all three bulbs sync up when the turn signals are turned on. Therefore, the new LEDs are now used as DRLs; Latency is no longer an issue, although the color difference is still noticeable. Where I am on this topic. At the same time, I also bought the same white and red bulbs for the backup and tail/brake lights. So far there are no issues with the reverse lights and the tail/brake lights work fine, although the red tail/brake light lower intensity mode has a slight anomaly as the light goes out when the car's headlights are turned on. double flash. Otherwise they work perfectly and so far not a single LED has burned out or flickered. They are nice and bright in parking light mode and super bright in brake light mode. Also, unlike many other LEDs, the difference between low and high intensity is enough for you to actually see when the brake lights are on, not the parking lights. So I am very happy with the seller. They were very kind to solve the problem quickly. As for the lamps themselves, I'm not dissatisfied, but I'm not very satisfied either. The manufacturer has some quality control issues that need to be addressed (uneven color, light lag, double flash, LED longevity). Can't say it's just this manufacturer - my son has tried various LEDs from other manufacturers in his car and the quality has been random. Hopefully the quality will improve over time.
