Super Bright LUYED LED Bulbs with Projector: 2 X 900 Lumens, 78-EX Chipsets for Turn Signal, Amber - 3056, 3156, 3057, 3157 Review

Processing looked good, connection without problems. They are very bright and look great but after 11 months I now have one that flickers randomly like some solder joints inside have come loose. I brought back regular incandescent bulbs because they last longer but aren't as bright. $15 for 11 month LEDs or $6 for standard bulbs, which last me 3 years. hmmmm

They are definitely brighter than similar brand JDM-Aster 3157 (JDM ASTAR AX-2835) LED bulbs, the build quality is also better and even brighter than my 4157 bulb. They just use a little more energy. I believe the difference in brightness between "on" and the "turn signal" is not as good as the old bulbs. I'd like to save $2 if they don't pack them in a fancy box, but I suppose it helps if the bulbs bust when you touch them.

The backlight works well enough but the connection is terrible. I would recommend getting a different brand. I installed them reasonably well with no problems, although after a week I noticed that they were "dead" and found that the bulb had literally fallen out of its socket because it wasn't thick enough. I had to pull it out of the headlight and wrap a layer or two of tape around it while waiting for my new, much better, different brand LED lights. Look for other brand types.

I originally bought Slyvania Zevo bulbs but they didn't work at all in my turn signals. My turn signal reflector design shows the brightest with them. A 2003 Ford F-150 requires multiple light sources in the form of these types of LED bulbs to get the right reflection and resulting brightness when viewed from the side. At the time of my purchase there was no indication that this would not work in my Dodge Grand Caravan. Apparently, Dodge uses unique wiring and lightbulb not listed in any manual. After melting down two LED bulb sockets and replacing a few fuses, I looked through the old bulbs and found a (K) on one of them. I bought literally dozens of LEDs on Amazon, different manufacturers, with different light and style, I needed different types for different applications (rear lts / parking / lts marked / front prking / Interior). I've worked on cars my whole life and all my clients have fitted whole cars with LEDs (because the kits are junk you get some good bright bulbs but then any other one gets boring. bulbs work great but have a hyper flash problem that is quite common when going from factory bulbs to LED bulbs. Most new cars have the ability to 'test' the bulbs, giving you warnings in the dashboard information bar if there is a problem. Those lamp sensors are obviously looking for resistance at some level and if there isn't, they'll give you an error code.
