The backlight works well enough but the connection is terrible. I would recommend getting a different brand. I installed them reasonably well with no problems, although after a week I noticed that they were "dead" and found that the bulb had literally fallen out of its socket because it wasn't thick enough. I had to pull it out of the headlight and wrap a layer or two of tape around it while waiting for my new, much better, different brand LED lights. Look for other brand types.
