As someone who works with furniture on a regular basis, I am impressed with the quality of this inexpensive stool. I was looking for a stool to sit at my dressing table but it's an antique dressing table, it sits low and has little leg room so it was almost impossible unless I wanted to put something ridiculous on it. I'm a single mom so can't afford expensive furniture but still want quality. It is made of solid wood and plywood, there is no chipboard here. It feels solid and is easy to put on your feet. I would buy this brand again anytime. I have beige, perfectly neutral, not too brown.
