Review on 📀 Daewoo DV6T955B DVD / VCR Combo: The Ultimate Multimedia Solution by Brett Morrison

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'll stay away from it

I used to sell my old Zenith Allegro VCR for $30 because it was time for an upgrade - the old Allegro was mono -sound! So I bought it from Target on Clearance for $72. I hooked it up to component video (which I recommend for any TV that accepts red, green, and blue RCA cables for video; the best picture possible!) and the DVD looked pretty good, not as good as my Panasonic DVD Player in fall 2001, still works great! But when I saw the first season of "Scrubs" I rewound quite a bit because Dr. Cox and the janitor are so damn funny the DVD starts to freeze and then after a minute it stops, hangs up and then after a minute it stops. etc. Not cool, breeze. Also, I noticed that when playing a DVD, the audio is delayed by 1/4 to 1/2 second, which isn't cool either. The VCR works phenomenally and records my favorite shows with no problems. Convenient menu and setting the timer program with a bright colorful picture. The remote gets a little tricky in the dark when watching a movie - small buttons. If it were just the VCR I was looking for in the first place I would give this Daewoo pup 5 stars. But part of the DVD didn't live up to my Panasonic expectations. He's back at Target and now I have a Panasonic V4523S VCR that impresses me again. I love you guys Panasonic. The remote gets a little tricky in the dark when watching a movie - small buttons.
