This printer is a joke. The advertised 400 pages per cartridge is a big joke. Sure, I'm a teacher trying to get ready for Tuesday's class, but instead I spend hours at the computer and tech support trying to figure out what's wrong with this cheap printer. You get what you pay for. First off, I printed about 30 pages with cartridges installed in the printer in the last two weeks before running out of yellow and magenta. Two days ago I replaced the cartridges with HP cartridges (VERY EXPENSIVE) after which my printer stopped printing any colors at all. I researched online and contacted HP support. It wasn't until I completed level 3 that I was able to print in color. Unfortunately I used a lot of black ink to find out why it wouldn't print in color. Now my printer won't print anything and will generate level 3 diagnostic and cleaning reports that print well with black and color ink and use the little ink that I have. But when I try to send a print job to the printer, it just outputs a blank sheet of paper. I keep having to press the print button on the printer, which turns off for some reason. In addition, the printer is very noisy. I have no time for that. I need a printer that works and doesn't use all the ink on a few pages. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS PRINTER.
