The fasteners that attach the brackets to the base are junk I will replace them with better ones I have one of these The screws broke off when I tightened them there are no lock washers so they should be there. I think they are very weak, not that I used a wrench or anything I installed last night to replace a bolt but there was something in the auto zone that would work, the profile wasn't the right one, but the metal nut is so soft that it didn't have to be unscrewed much. I hope the bank holds out. The only negative I can say is the spacers that replace the lug nuts. It would be great if they sent tow kits, the one that came with the kit and a shorter kit so that's not it. I have such a big gap. Oh wait, one more thing, not really their fault, but nobody said anything about it in the reviews I've read so far. If you need to remove the spare tire from the Jeep, you will need to remove the skid plate and then remove the spacers to remove the tire. This adds two tools and doubles the work. I haven't had to use free time in my adult life so it's not that big of a deal but if someone would comment on that I might have another option to choose this tank but I might not have something to just think about. The bolt and nut thing is what stopped me from giving this 5 stars, they could have been bigger and stronger and I don't see that adding to the cost that much. Also Daystar please make a cap, I'm sure someone will steal it and $15 for a replacement cap will quickly become obsolete.
