I bought these Chore Boy pads after reading how well winding some stranded copper wire onto a brass rifle/pistol brush would remove lead deposits from the barrel. Worked great! Removed accumulated lead in barrel rifling with minimal work. And no damage to the barrel. But it should be pure copper material, not copper plated steel. And Chore Boy is pure copper. I trusted what she said and it paid off. This is the only way I can now clean heavily soiled barrels. And this 6-pack should last for years.
