I have a 17lb Yorkie/Poop. yes 17 pounds At first it was strange on the legs. He walked weird, then got used to it. He seems to like her. At first I put them on without socks. seems to be working fine. I wore them with socks for the second time. We shoved snow outside for about an hour and when I came in he asked her to take it off. and they were wet! It's not all weather conditions. his paw was wet from the snow when I took off my shorts. Socks were wet too. it is not waterproof. These boots are a temporary fix so your dog can go outside and then take them off right away. I've tested them by leaving them on for an hour in dry weather, it's fine. but I would not recommend them for a long walk. He licked his paw when I took it off.
