Review on ๐ŸŽ๏ธ ACDelco Silver 14D369CH: Premium Ceramic Front Disc Brake Pad Set with Hardware - Top Performance and Superior Quality by Justin Wehrman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great in a 1999 Suburban.

I installed them on a 1999 Suburban that I bought a few months ago along with new brake calipers. They work fantastic. A lot of people complain that these GMT400 trucks have very poor stopping power, but I have ENOUGH stopping power with these pads. I don't have a reference point to compare them because the Suburban came with really bad brake pads, so even the day I bought it sucked (I knew it needed brake work). After installing the pads I was (and still am) very happy with their performance. Update, as of December 2017 the same pads are holding up great. May last another year before replacement is required. Update September 2018, the pads are still ok, they still stop the truck great and will still do 10k miles if I leave them there, but I will change them to 1 and a half. - Metallics, once I'm going to replace ball joints and such, I might as well put new pads in while I'm at it. These pads have done about 22,000 miles and will probably do about 32,000 miles and that includes mostly city driving and a bit of towing and more than a bit of "hard" riding. I'm lucky enough to put the same pads on the second Suburban we bought.

Pros
  • No curing or machining required, ready to use
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
