Review on 🎨 Becky Higgins 380184 Project Life Mini Kits MH-Flea Market: 100-Piece Set for Scrapbooking Enthusiasts by Heather Shaw

nice and easy to use with other accessories

I've been doing Project Life for a few years now and this year I decided to just use it as my main documentation/scrapbooking tool because it REALLY saves time and can be both simple and complex which I have time for. I chose a smaller version (8x8 instead of 12x12) because I tend to document events as they develop and over time, rather than on a weekly schedule. I've looked through all the core sets but couldn't find anything I wanted. I'm making a year-long commitment (those kits are HUGE!) and I already have a pretty decent supply of paper craft supplies. I just wanted something to give structure to my life project, but it will also fit what I already have (millions of template papers from millions of manufacturers) and it won't be a huge batch of duplicate magazine cards. The Maggie Holmes mini set is perfect. It's big enough that I can see it will easily last a year (add photos and such) without being *too* big. The design is perfect for me - it's quite subtle and pretty, but it also goes well with many of the graphic-style pieces in my collection. And there is enough variation in the set (2 for each 3x4 card, 1 for each 4x6 card) that it doesn't repeat itself since my format is much smaller. For those who have never had a Project Life stamp set, the cards are made from fairly thin and matte paper. For some reason I thought they were going to be like playing cards - thick and shiny, but they aren't. However, they are easier to write on and fold into pockets. I am very satisfied with this set. Of course now I want MORE but this kit has enough for me until I figure out what style to go for next. Highly recommended.
