I was aware that the image of the advertised product was undoubtedly much better than the pixelated "painterly" image I ended up getting from the seller. I have done several Diamond Paintings and fully understand why. That being said, I had no reason to expect colors that aren't even shown in any of the advertised images. I have attached an image showing the image of the advertised product alongside the image that I actually received. The green color on his face and body is even more vivid and uncomfortable in real life. My phone's camera really drowned out the worst. If I hadn't bought this as a last minute birthday present I would have submitted a return request the moment I unrolled the canvas. Now I'm stuck with it. A lot of the reviews I read after receiving it (not a very smart move on my part) mentioned that the colors and icons didn't match. In my experience this is normal. Maybe it's because I keep buying cheap crap, but I've never had a single diamond painting where I did NOT have to find the number associated with each color and then translate it to the corresponding symbol in the painting itself. It's annoying but manageable. What is unacceptable is the drastic color difference between what is advertised and what I received. I am very disappointed and will not be buying any more diamond paintings in the near future, if ever.
