Review on GUB 31.8MM Carbon Fiber Handlebar Extender: Super Long 🚴 Bike Bicycle Mount Bracket for Light, Lamp, Computer, and Phone Holder by Chris Ledet

I saw this product for the first time from several different manufacturers and read a lot of negative reviews. I really liked the concept, so I took a chance and went for this particular version as it seemed to be the most popular. After buying one of these for my Stumpjumper and having no problems, I decided for a second to install it on my Roubaix. I ended up buying a third one for my wife's Giant MTB. After reading everything from cheap clips to clips that won't tighten or slip. Not real carbon fiber. I can confirm this is a quality product. I've fitted this to three different bikes with different handlebar styles and haven't had to use the bushings that came with them. The handlebar is lightweight but made from real carbon fiber and includes a GoPro mount, cateye speedometer and headlamp. I also had a phone mount attached but moved it onto the frame as there is only room for three accessories. I recently had my shorty in the shop and the service guys, who are avid drivers, drooled over the accessory fairing and asked where I got it. For people who have had bad experiences with this item, I don't want to downplay your opinion. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, but for me this is the bomb.
