Resolution Catch 22

Last year I was gardening and doing landscaping. I liked wearing rain boots/rubber boots. They rose high enough to protect me from poison ivy. They also kept twigs and debris off my shoes. They also kept my feet dry. However, I have found that my legs absolutely work if I wear them for more than an hour. They lacked support and traction below. Obviously these weren't the type of shoes I should have worn for outdoor work. I switched to hiking/work shoes and found them much more comfortable. My feet didn't hurt like rubber boots. However, my feet were wet and there was debris in my boots. But worst of all, I came in contact with poison ivy and developed a rash on the bottom of my legs. These waterproof booties are the perfect solution. It seemed like I was in a no-win situation with my previous shoes. However, I wore them over my very comfortable and expensive hiking/work shoes. Not only do I have the support and comfort that my boots provide, but I now have the added peace of mind that my ankles are covered and fully waterproof. This is an amazing cross between a welly and a work boot. Not only did these boots save my very expensive hiking and work boots and keep my feet from hurting, they also saved me from poison ivy. In the winter I use a second pair of cases to protect my leather shoes when I travel. to the office. They keep my pants and shoes dry and most importantly protect against salt or ice melt which would leave harmful white stains on my shoes. On each outward-facing side, there is a reflective square with the brand name on top of the lid. , and a triangle at the heel. Both the triangle and squares are reflective, which is great when I'm walking through the parking lot in my black coat and those black covers for them to glow from streetlights or car headlights.
