Easy installation if you follow the instructions. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! Works perfectly. I used my "dipstick" to know I was half full before installing this gauge. After installing it showed I was at half a tank and it goes down significantly as we burn oil. Takes the guesswork out of when to prime and eliminates the need to call in a service technician for installation. The only thing you don't need in the box is thread sealant, although I see no reason why teflon tape wouldn't work as long as you screw the gauge on. You will need an adjustable wrench or a set of channel locks to tighten.
