Great price for MPPT solar controller. This device is packed with features and works well in my environment. I installed EPEVER in my caravan with a 100w solar panel. My panel constantly outputs voltage above 13 volts, it's very interesting to see how the controller converts overvoltage to amps. This conversion helps charge the battery more efficiently. EPEVER has some minor design flaws. 1.) This solar charge controller does not have a backlit display. Since I installed it in a closet, it's almost impossible to read anything on the device. 2.) The remote display is nice, but the manufacturer makes a stupid face about the battery voltage display. The face occupies every bit of 25% of the entire screen. I would find much more utility if it only showed the battery percentage and didn't cover my face. Use the extra space to show watts, temp, ah, basically all relevant info except face. Overall this is a good block, you can't beat the price. It is a TRUE MPPT controller when the power to be converted is above 10W (below 10W it behaves as a PWM controller).
