Not suitable for hot dishes or sauces

I paid approximately $99 plus tax for a 500 6" x 9" Expander Tray. In general, they are suitable for dry foods. Containers are not suitable for hot, wet food (sauces or gravies). Condensation and moisture are absorbed by the shell over time and begin to decompose. Great for the environment but messy when eating. If you're using them at BBQs or quick informal dinners where you don't want to use a lid, you can rip the tray open at the seam and use the lid as another base to strengthen the tray. . This will prevent the wet food bowl from falling apart.
