Review on ABN Automotive Flaring Tool Kit for Double πŸ”§ Flaring Copper, Aluminum, Soft Steel Brake Lines, and Brass Tubing by Jose Moran

I'm serious. in Brake Tools

There's nothing like buying flare kits, finding a duplicate flare kit out of the bunch and paying more for that kit, only to find out it's the only kit is that does not include a cord cutter. Of course I understand that there is no cutter in the picture. but somehow in a hodgepodge of all sorts of different sets, I didn't notice. That's right, which wood set doesn't come with a router? The rest is a normal sentence. It's bloody hard to get any part of the vise to hold the leash without leaving a hell of a scar on it. It's been a long time since I've done any brake lines, so a one-page chart showing how much needs to stick out before the vise clamps would be nice. It kind of arched at the end to keep my fitting from slipping past the torch, but that's probably because I was sticking out too far in front of the torch. I should have just bought their cheap junk from the local auto parts store. For some reason I thought it was better quality.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive
