I sent them to the UK to replace the rear kit in a Mazda CX3 (Bose system). First, the tailgate size is 5.25", so I made a 6.5" coax mounting plate/adapter. Speaker. Conclusion: It shows how bad and dirty the factory Bose speakers are (JBL plays in a completely different league in terms of sound). Crystal-clear sound, many high-quality mids, controlled and pleasant bass and beautiful, ringing treble. Seriously, with a 2 ohm Bose amp (another not-so-great piece of equipment) this is an amazing upgrade for an OEM system. I'm using Addison APK6.5 front and they seem to complement each other well. Highly recommended.
