Review on πŸ”Š Infinity Reference 6530CX: Unleashing High-Performance 6-1/2" Component Speaker System by Marc Hawkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One if not the best choice in this price range

I'm actually a bit unfair in giving them only 4 stars as it is definitely one of the best speakers for the price in its price range. And to get a much better quality, spend almost twice as much. But I'm old school, and late 80's, early 90's speakers made by companies that are now sold out like MB Quart, we're definitely a lot better. The speakers get louder with external amplification, but loud and quality sound are completely different things. As is often mentioned with Infiniti components, the tweeters are the star here, not overly bright and definitely EQ controllable to suit your preferences. The mid-range suffices most of the top-ends in this price range, and what happens is that you end up spending a lot more money again to get something much better. Crossovers are a little big, but I have a lot of space, but some cars may not be available, so you need to think before you buy. Got two way links in the rear doors and two 10" Skar subwoofers under the seat and it definitely sounds good and for the price I don't think I could get better sound. So don't let the 4 stars put you off because of the price, definitely 5 stars like I said, I'm dated and cheap and there are definitely better speakers out there but you will pay more money.
