Review on ๐Ÿƒ Saucony Triumph 18 Women's Running Shoes by Troy Simpson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cushioning, NOT for pronation, high arches, wide feet. The lightning strikes. The heel is inclined in the wrong direction.

Provides adequate cushioning but no arch support. For this and for plantar fasciitis you need special orthotic inserts if you need padding under the ball of your foot. They are not as wide as I would have expected from wide shoes. Maybe if I take half a size bigger. There is still not enough room for a high arch, so the toes become numb. Half a number more might help here, too. They slide up and down your back. No help with pronation, the front flare and sloping heel actually make my legs pronate more. A wide flash in front makes me stumble. I would have preferred a stiffer outsole for stability reasons. Older sneakers had a layer of plastic on the bottom of the sole with bulges to keep them from slipping in the mud. They lasted longer and were more stable. These shoes are not breathable. Still look for a shoe that's wide enough to accommodate a high arch, provides stability and protection from pronation, and has cushioning. Arch support and cushioning under the ball of the foot and heel would also be nice, but I can use orthotics for that.
