Disappointed only in comfort

This is an attractive and well made shoe. Unfortunately I have to return them because my feet hurt so much after 3 attempts just walking around my house or trying to exercise on the treadmill. I thought they would be just as comfortable and helpful for my plantar fasciitis/foot pronation as my Saucony Omni 2, but the difference is huge and obvious.

Pros
  • Hands free

  • Not sure

Burning on balls of feet :(

This shoe fits well and has plenty of cushioning around the toe hole and tongue. My first day at the gym I am burning. the balls of my feet ,,, , the heel is ok.. At $149 I wouldn't need to go out and buy an insole but that seems to be what is needed here. The last pair of Saucony Triumphs didn't have this problem and it's disappointing.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • The lace is shorter than others

Not so soft: women

This is my first Saucony shoe, judging by the other Triumph reviews here and on their website it's supposed to be their softest shoe apart from the new Endorphin Shift. I really felt the cushion in my heel but after 5 minutes the balls of my feet hurt and my fingers were numb, there is no cushion except the heel. I also had pain in my knees and hips that I don't have with other soft shoes. They just came out, maybe they are not as beautiful as the 17.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Some flaws

These are great shoes!

I have supination and high arch of foot. It was very difficult for me to find shoes that I can walk miles in every day. I have tried Hoka One One Bondi 6 and 7, Brooks and many others. This is the best I've ever received. The arch is perfect for my feet. The heel is really soft. The forefoot could have had better cushioning but this is still the best shoe I've had in a long time. The Saucony Triumph ISO 5s are good but they don't last long and this one beats them by a wide margin. If like me…

No more metatarsal pain

Great shoe. I did a lot of research on running shoes that might help my wife with metatarsal pain after trying some gel insoles in her Asics at the current budget price. It turns out you get what you pay for and finding the right shoes is more important than we thought. I can't say anything about the maximum depreciation. The pain in my legs disappeared overnight. If you're willing to take leftovers in a color that might not be your first choice, you can often find the best top-of-the-line…

  • Great price

Great trip! Really helped relieve the pain.

I have to give this shoe one star. Not because of the shoes themselves but because of the chest which padded my order with a men's size 10. I ordered a women's size 9. As for the shoes, I ended up ordering them from the Saucony website. These shoes are amazing! Have tried other styles but these are the best. These are neutral shoes with "plush" cushioning, which by the way doesn't mean they look like a soft pair of Sketchers shoes. Nothing wrong with that, I love Sketchers. It's just another…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Provides adequate cushioning but no arch support. For this and for plantar fasciitis you need special orthotic inserts if you need padding under the ball of your foot. They are not as wide as I would have expected from wide shoes. Maybe if I take half a size bigger. There is still not enough room for a high arch, so the toes become numb. Half a number more might help here, too. They slide up and down your back. No help with pronation, the front flare and sloping heel actually make my legs…

They are not like the Saucony Triumph 17

I just bought these new Saucony Triumph 18 and I can feel the difference between them. felt it would cushion my footprint better. The tennis tongue is higher so it doesn't interrupt the run, but I don't understand why they changed it that way. The toe of the shoe feels stiffer because it's made of a different, more durable material, something I'm not as comfortable with as I feel like one of my fingers is touching or colliding with the end of the shoe. The forefoot flex size is narrower than…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Protection

Probably a good shoe for many women, but not for me.

Triumph 18 not good for me. I have two pairs of Triumph 17s and I LOVE them! Why? I am an overweight middle aged woman who uses these shoes for fitness walking and whenever I am on my feet most of the day. The 17's give me all the cushioning/shock absorption my weight and aching right knee require while being very resilient/flexible to help me progress in my gait cycle. The heel fit in the 17's is the best shoe I've ever had for my narrow heels - no rise for a very secure fit. In the Triumph 18

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not the best
