I just applied these with a friend and we found they held onto the base coat much better. We applied a quick drying clear top coat to her bare nails, waited a few minutes and then applied that and another top coat. They were a lot easier! I wore mine over red for some accent nails and they are amazing! Very thin, much thinner than hard girls or gel paste, but they smooth out pretty well and look a lot more natural. They are thin enough to trim off excess material with your thumbnail. Will update when I see how long they last! UPDATE: The stripes we applied over the quick drying top coat peeled off after 24 hours! The streaks on bare nails lasted a full week.
