Life Changing Lightbulbs for Moms!

I love these light bulbs! I think we have up to 22 Sengled Element smart bulbs in our house now. As a mother of four sons, I LOVE them! The house is no longer illuminated by the light that drove me crazy! I was raised never to leave the light on when you leave the room, so I'll go insane if it's left on. Most of our lights are now set to timers that turn on and off at specific times and since you can program a group of lights (like 6 recessed lights in the kitchen) or individual bulbs we rarely touch the switch. The lights in the children's rooms are off when they go to school because they come on when they get up and go out 10 minutes after they leave. It's paradise! The dimming function is also great. I had a list of additional dimmer switches for my husband to install, but that's not necessary now! I have a lightbulb in the kitchen above the sink that is on all night at 1% power as a night light, as well as a lightbulb in the kids room down the hall so they don't have to touch the switches and leave them there. The light bulbs in the living room lamps turn on at the appointed time with 5% power and create an ideal, not too bright, cozy atmosphere in the room where we relax in the evenings. They automatically black out an hour before the 11:00 p.m. launch, and we don't touch them! If it's a darker, rainy day, I just ask Alexa to turn them on a little earlier. Our porch lights even come on on a schedule so they can't be left on during the day! I am in heaven! I recently added 12 smart headlight bulbs to my collection for our finished basement. All recessed lights are down there on ONE switch at the bottom of the stairs. I'm sure it seemed like a great idea, but when you're in a communal space, you don't really need a light in the utility room, playroom, or kitchenette. We were planning on hiring an electrician to install individual switches in each room, but then I thought of smart lightbulbs! They're expensive at 10+/- per bulb, but compared to having to call an electrician and drill holes in our prefabricated basement walls/ceiling, it was CHEAP! Now I've put them in groups for different areas and some of them work on a timer. Life changes! I will definitely buy more! There are still plenty of lightbulbs left in the garage, so that's my next hurdle. I love my Sengled onions!
