They don't leave lint and are quite soft. I bought them at the same time as the other brand and the other brand was softer (like how likely they are to scratch the surface they rub against) so I gave them 4 stars and not 5 stars but they clean my glasses well. and didn't scratch them. I love that they come in individual resealable pouches (a four fold fabric size) so you can carry them around in your purse, bag, backpack etc without getting dirty or greasy which will transfer to your glasses with use can use it to clean.
