Review on 🐶 Gold Paw Stretch Fleece Dog Coat: Soft, Warm Clothes for Dogs, Eco-friendly & Machine Washable – All Season Pet Sweater in Black, Size 2 by Tara Ford

My Maltese (Jade) has four of these size 6 sweaters. She weighs 5 pounds, is 11 inches long and has a 13.5 inch chest diameter. Her waist/lower back is EXTREMELY small (8 inches) so the base of the sweater *doesn't* fit around her small waist. Otherwise, the sweaters hug your withers and back without being too tight. I've attached some photos of Jade wearing two sweaters - I hope this helps you see her measurements. Before Jade, I had a male Maltese that was twice Jade's size. I would have taken a size 8 for him, he was 9-10 pounds. I bought my friend's Bolognese puppy a size 4 sweater. This puppy currently weighs 2-3 pounds. My friend informed me that the sweater is perfect for her bolo. Hooray! The material is very stretchy and form fitting which is perfect for my jade. Although the material is stretchy, the fabric is warm. It's fleece, so imagine how you feel in fleece. Very cozy, very soft, very warm first sweater I bought Jade 3 YEARS ago, still "in rotation". It holds perfectly with no holes, snags or scuffs. Rolls a little after 3 years. I machine wash them but let them air dry. I've noticed that some negative reviews are coming from Chihuahua owners. It is possible that the cut of these sweaters will not suit the build/shape of this breed. But for the Maltese this is ideal. Jade has red, coral, black and fuchsia. I just want them to make powder, light pink. Something more elegant for these diva girls. :-)
