It's funny, but the magnets aren't too strong.
Magnets are good for small hands and attract attention with their colours. My only complaint is that they aren't very strong and if your child builds something it can easily fall apart if bumped on. If you've ever played with a young child, you know it can bring tears. Kids 4 and 2 still enjoy them.
