Center click button died after one year of use (RIP In Peace). This mouse was used as a work mouse, not for gaming or anything that involves heavy use, so the middle button switch didn't get a lot of duty cycles. I took it apart and it turned out that the switch had an internal mechanical failure, so there's not much that can be done about it. Hover the pointer again - and the hang isn't due to system load, as the CPU stats show that my cores are mostly idle in this case. It doesn't happen all that often, so I guess it's not as annoying as it could be. The other two buttons work fine (at least for now), so I'll keep them as a backup mouse, at least until the switches die too. For $12, I was expecting slightly better quality internal switches. I wouldn't buy this again; In fact, I replaced it with a $20 ASUS TUF M3 (it's a gaming mouse, so hopefully it has stronger internals).
