I don't have much experience with other similar tools on the market so I can't compare them. I just saw a similar tool at a woodworking show and thought it would save me the trouble of drilling and then changing countersinks. It worked great and the countersink is very sharp and once adjusted it makes perfectly sized countersinks every time. Having used one, I can say that this will be one of the tools I use all the time. In terms of tool build and ease of use, all I can say is that after a weekend of use, making dozens of holes in hardwood was no problem.
