I only drive my car once a week and only drive a few kilometers. This means my battery has no way of maintaining a charge. I bought a battery tinder here and bought this plastic cord cover to keep the plug and extension cord from getting wet. I always leave the Tinder connected to the battery and tuck the wire cover close to the left front wheel. The lid has a valve that keeps water out, which is nice. What I don't like are the little black plastic cord holders on each end. They were lost almost immediately because they are so small. However, they aren't needed, so that's fine. These black pieces are meant to hold the cords in place at each end, but they're mostly useless. However, this cord cover is much better than just laying the extension cord on the floor. My car is under a permanent aluminum cover so the cable and cover never end up in the grass. However, the price could be a little lower.
