Works great with 3 out of 4 PCs I have. You just wouldn't push the video. The issue was resolved by switching the monitor to DP 1.1 mode (from 1.2). In my case this isn't a problem as DP 1.1 is sufficient for the one 1440p monitor I have, but might be a problem for a 4K monitor. It could just be an older graphics card (AMD R9 270) in this PC. There is also some noise in the sound. But then again, it's analog, so not entirely unexpected. When you switch between computers, they think the monitor is connected/disconnected. It can be both good and bad. Let's say my laptop automatically switches to the internal display after turning off the monitor - and that's fine. On the other hand, the windows move, which can be a bit annoying. Overall, the device is solid and the remote control works great.
