These are really good hybrid pedals. They seem very durable and I like the look. My wife wanted to start riding clipless and they seemed like a good first set for her bike - she still loves them and finds them very easy to use. I've ridden my commuter bike with hybrid pedals for years - it's nice to be able to just step on without cycling shoes, and you get used to the small movement you have to make to bring the right side of the pedal up. I really think commuting, touring, or daily city riding are the right use cases for this type of pedal. I love the handles on the side of the platform for holding a pair of shoes although they are not adjustable although I have not tried them on either. Kind of rough terrain. As other reviewers have pointed out, the side cleat mechanism is VERY stiff and needs smashing. extra grease and now everything is fine.
