I have arthritis in my hands. I only had pain when I slept, but now it's 24/7. Rubber balls were recommended to me for stress relief and I bought them but the pressure hurts. A colleague gave me two chrome balls for work. I thought they were 2 inch balls and they are really big and heavy. I bought them for the house and they are half the size of the ones my colleague gave me! At first I thought they were too small but as some have said the size is great! They are easy to manipulate in your hands and you feel like you are exercising your hands! I didn't think I would feel anything because they are so small, but I think small movements really work. I love them and just bought another set to have one in the office and one at home. Oh they are good too and the box is just beautiful. The price is great too. Very happy with this purchase.
