I bought this for a trip to Ireland due to its small size and dual voltage. The size is good and small for travel and the dryer works well here in the US; not as strong as my normal dryer, but perfectly adequate for its size. I will add after a trip abroad. So far very satisfied. The red color is very pleasant. Update: Make sure you use it abroad with a low level and a higher voltage. The low setting offers the same performance as the high setting when traveling abroad on 220 or 240 volts. If you accidentally use the high setting abroad, the dryer will overheat and shut down immediately, leaving a pungent odor in the air. Fortunately, when I accidentally used it on high settings, it worked well on low settings, although the hair dryer turned off almost immediately after cooling. In other words, the higher voltage did not permanently damage the dryer. So when you are abroad, turn the dryer on to 220 volts (on a small button that allows you to switch between voltages with a coin in the button slot) and remember to only use the dryer on the low setting.
