I don't know what to tell you except this simple thing really works! It's easy to find out. I took the precious cassette I had, put it in, added a flash drive and recorded in manual mode. I don't need auto mode as it was speech and all files are mixed and I still want to edit mp3 files myself. He recorded an MP3 file that sounded exactly like a cassette. I edited the file and created numerous MP3s which I burned to CD myself and checked carefully. Put simply, the thing works. If you enable Single Auto Reverse it will switch to the other side once and then stop - this means that with one press of the play/record button you get the ENTIRE tape, side A and B, while you're doing something else. play/record and then forget - it switches to the other side and stops at the end of side B. How handy is that!? You just have to be careful - it's all plastic and looks like it could break easily. So handle it with care. Video reviews on YouTube show that this product has been around for a while but under a different name. All reviews were positive.
