Size matters. - Window Treatment Hardware

Strictly speaking, this is not a negative review. Rather, it's a review that I'd like to read before I buy three of them. and had to send three of them back at my own expense. If you need a thin plastic curtain rod, you won't find anything better for the price. But if you want a real curtain rod, this isn't for you. Here's something to note: most curtain panels can accommodate a much larger rod, and that's important. You want your tongue or sleeve to add just the right amount of shaft for them to be huggable. This is a 5/8" pole. It's tiny. A regular sized hub will look huge on this rod and sooner or later the rod will sag under the weight of anything but the lightest fabric. A pole with a typical curtain is, like throwing a hot dog down the hall. However, if you're looking for a thin and not particularly strong pole, it comes with attractive brackets, screws and anchors.Installation is very easy as long as you have a long spirit level, pencil, have a drill, drill and a screwdriver that you will need when installing curtain rods.
