Review on Electric Leaf Blower By CRAFTSMAN - 12-Amp Power (CMEBL700) For Efficient Cleaning by Dawn Wright

Got this unit primarily for the vacuum function, which it does quite well. Stronger suction than I expected, has no problem sucking up 3/4" red volcanic rocks, which is actually a problem because I wanted to suck up leaves and debris from the rocky areas of my yard. I think I can solve it with a stick or something taped to the nozzle to keep the opening far enough away from the ground to avoid sucking up rocks but still close enough to get the organic material. Probably need to experiment to get the distance right.I originally thought a metal impeller would be better than plastic but now I'm not so sure. Some plastics can be pretty tough, and metal might fracture or shatter when encountering rocks, like I did almost immediately when I started using it. I'll check my impeller to see if the few rocks I slurped up did any damage, and update this review with what I see.Overall, very happy with this unit so far. The hose is a little short for me but I really like the backpack collection bag and think I can adjust the harness to fit me better.
