Great socket with timer

I bought this for my son's room because he has a bad habit of falling asleep with the bedside light on and also turning it on when it's light outside. can last from 15:00 to midnight. In terms of accuracy, this is a watch face, so it's about as accurate as a watch face can be compared to a digital timer. It's great that he always has one side on, and the other - a timer - very convenient. the light is on outside of the timer, then it always happens because the "Cancel" slider for the timer outputs is set to "always on". He blames the cats. I'm not sure I believe this story.
